En anteriores entradas comentamos que la ZEPA de Monte El Valle y Sierras de Altaona y Escalona, que comienza a la puerta del resort, tiene la mayor densidad de búho real del mundo.

El vídeo siguiente es sobre un impresionante búho real. Dura apenas un minuto. Un vecino de Hacienda Riquelme ha tenido la amabilidad de enviarnos el enlace (¡Gracias Antonio!).
El vídeo está grabado a cámara lenta (1000 imágenes por segundo). Para grabarlo se colocó un cebo justo encima de la lente de la cámara.
Los últimos segundos son sorprendentes. Observe como se mueven las alas para corregir la trayectoria del vuelo y el búho prácticamente se detiene en el aire y coger su presa.

The last few seconds are amazing. Notice how the wings are moved to correct the flight path and the Eagle Owl almost stops in the air and catch its prey.
