El pasado 25 de agosto, el diario El Mundo publicó un muy interesante artículo sobre las razones por las que la situacion del Mar Menor es crítica. Se titulaba El acuífero-bomba que envenena de nitratos el mar Menor, el Cuaternario, en máximos históricos. Por si fuera poco, la Asociación de Naturalistas del Sudeste (ANSE) ha presentado otra denuncia. Las razones se explican en su página web, en la nota de prensa ANSE denuncia el vertido al Mar Mediterráneo de aguas residuales de La Manga sin depurar.

On August 25, the newspaper El Mundo published a very interesting article on the reasons why the situation of the Mar Menor is critical. It was entitled The aquifer-bomb that poisons the Mar Menor with nitrates, the Quaternary, at historical maximums. As if that were not enough, the Southeast Naturalists Association (ANSE) has filed another complaint. The reasons are explained on its website, in the press release ANSE denounces the discharge into the Mediterranean Sea of untreated wastewater from La Manga.
