Carteles sin faltas de ortografía / Signs without misspellings

Dice el refrán que rectificar es de sabios. Esta vez los responsables del cartel de las piscinas han rectificado el diseño original. Mejor para todos. 👍

Ahora sólo falta que retiren los deteriorados carteles antiguos. Basta quitar los 6 tornillos que les fijan a la valla de la piscina.

The saying goes that to rectify is wise. This time those responsible for the swimming pool sign have rectified the original design. Better for everyone. 👍

Carteles con faltas de ortografía / Signs with misspellings

The English version of this post boils down to saying that, if you are interested in practicing Spanish, don't read the new pool signs.

Los nuevos carteles con las normas de uso de las piscinas han sorprendido desagradablemente a muchos propietarios españoles. Las faltas de ortografía por la inexistencia de la Ñ y las tildes hace que nos preguntemos cómo es posible que nadie revisara el texto del cartel antes de imprimirlo.

Pero hay más cosas. Vamos a verlas:

• SOLO RESIDENTES Y HUESPEDES --> SÓLO RESIDENTES y HUÉSPEDES
• PISCINA PUBLICA --> PISCINA PÚBLICA
• EN TODO MOMENTOS --> EN TODO MOMENTO (sin la S)
• OBLIGATORIO DUCHARSE ANTES Y DESPUES DEL BANO --> OBLIGATORIO DUCHARSE ANTES Y DESPUÉS DEL BAÑO (después del baño me ducho en mi apartamento).
• PANAL DE BANO OBLIGATORIO --> PAÑAL DE BAÑO OBLIGATORIO
• MENORES DE 12 ANOS SIEMPRE ACOMPANADOS --> MENORES DE 12 AÑOS SIEMPRE ACOMPAÑADOS (lo de 12 anos suena fatal).
• PROHIBIDO BEBIDAS DE CRISTAL --> Las bebidas son líquidas. Lo que es de cristal son los envases ¿no?
• NO MÚSICA --> NO MÚSICA
• Y para rematar, el eslogan del patrocinador está en inglés y portugués, pero no en español. No importa, hay otras inmobiliarias y guardallaves (keyholders) en el resort.

Actas descafeinadas / Mild minutes

Tras recibir el acta de la AGM 2010 de la fase 1, tuvimos que escribir a Resortalia un largo correo con un buen número de alegaciones.
El acta contenía errores sobre los resultados de alguna votación y no recogía las críticas y comentarios adversos que se vertieron sobre determinadas actuaciones (u omisiones) de la junta directiva, en particular de la presidenta, e indirectamente de Resortalia.
También faltaban varias preguntas que entendíamos planteaban temas relevantes. Por ejemplo:

• ¿Recibe el resort alguna contrapartida del Ayuntamiento de Murcia por el pago del IBI?
• ¿Qué zonas del resort son propiedad del Ayuntamiento, qué uso podrán hacer de ellas los propietarios, y quién financiará su mantenimiento?

A lo mejor es que nos enviaron el acta de la AGM de otra fase. Por si acaso, le sugerimos lea cuidadosamente la que le manden a Vd.

After receiving the minute of the AGM 2010 of Phase 1, we had to write a long email to Resortalia with a number of arguments. 
The minute contained errors on the results of some voting and did not contain any criticism and adverse comments that were dumped on certain actions (or inactions) of the board, particularly the president, and indirectly Resortalia. 
Also missing several questions posed understood relevant topics. For example:

•  Do the resort receive any compensation from Murcia City Council for payment of IBI (local tax)?
•  What areas of the resort are owned by the City, what use will make them the owners, and who will finance their maintenance?

Maybe Resortalia sent us the minute of the AGM of another phase. Just in case, we suggest you to read carefully the minute they send you.
