A few days ago, a Polaris World Forum participant asked where to find up-to-date maps including the roads around the resort. Someone answered by sending a link to OpenStreetMap. You can read the full thread here.

OpenStreetMap is a Wiki style maps application, ie registered users modify and update the information, so maps are more up-to-date than anywhere else we know. It has many additional functions; all of them are explained in the help page (available in many languages).

Hace unos días alguien preguntó en Polaris World Forum por mapas actualizados de las carreteras próximas al resort. Otro amable forista adjuntó un enlace a OpenStreetMap. Puede leer el hilo completo aquí.

OpenStreetMap es una aplicación cartográfica, tipo Wiki, es decir, que son los usuarios registrados quienes modifican y actualizan la información. Por eso los mapas están más al día que en cualquier otro sitio que conozcamos. Dispone de otras muchas funciones adicionales, todas las cuales están explicadas en la página de ayuda (disponible en muchos idiomas).
