Hacienda Riquelme Blog: 10º aniversario / 10th anniversary

El 12 de marzo de 2010 publicamos la primera entrada en Hacienda Riquelme Blog (Un blog sobre Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort abierto a propietarios y residentes). Mucho ha llovido desde entonces y, 10 años después, podemos afirmar satisfechos que tenemos un resort consolidado, que también es de los más bonitos, mejor cuidados y más seguros de Murcia.

Además, a fecha de hoy, el campo de golf de Hacienda Riquelme es el mejor valorado de los 14 campos existentes en la Región de Murcia, tal y como hemos podido comprobar en la popular web especializada Leading Courses ¡Un éxito para GNK Golf, fruto del esfuerzo continuo de toda su plantilla, y un gran activo para el resort!

En estos 10 años, hemos publicado unas 830 entradas y otras 15 páginas, incluidas en el blog. Muchos de los contenidos debemos agradecérselos a numerosos colaboradores que han escrito o nos han suministrado informaciones originales, o que nos han permitido el uso de material de su propiedad. No citaremos a ninguno para evitar olvidarnos de otros ¡Son muchas personas! Gracias a ellas hemos puesto gran cantidad de información útil a disposición de todos. En nuestra opinión, tenemos la mejor recopilación de datos sobre aves, polillas, medio ambiente y espacios naturales cerca del resort y alrededores. Los artículos de historia escritos para el blog son también originales.

Se está tan bien en Hacienda Riquelme que hasta Carlitos, de facto la mascota del resort, parece que ha decidido a quedarse a vivir con nosotros. Gracias por visitar este blog y ¡Disfrute de Hacienda Riquelme!

On March 12, 2010, we published our first post in the Hacienda Riquelme Blog (A blog about Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort open to owners and residents). It is a long time since then and, 10 years later, we are proud of having a consolidated resort, that is also one of the most beautiful, best cared and safest in Murcia.

In addition, Hacienda Riquelme's golf course is today the best rated of the 14 existing courses in the Region of Murcia, as we have seen in the popular specialized website Leading Courses. A success for GNK Golf, as a result of the hard work of all the staff, and a great asset for the resort!

In these 10 years, we have published about 830 posts and another 15 pages are also included in the blog. Many of the contents must be attributed to a large number of collaborators that have written or provided us with original information, or allowed us to use material about their property. We will quote none to avoid offending others. There are many people and we thank them all! Thanks to them, we have made a lot of useful information available to everyone. In our opinion, we have the best compilation of data about birds, moths, environment and the natural areas near the resort and surroundings. The history articles written for the blog are also original.

Cada vez es más frecuente encontrar en Youtube vídeos con imágenes de Hacienda Riquelme grabadas con drones. A menudo, están hechos por agencias inmobiliarias o propietarios que quieren vender o alquilar apartamentos.

Hace poco hemos encontrado uno que, por la calidad de las imágenes y la realización, lo hemos incluido en la columna izquierda de la versión web (no en la versión para móviles) de este blog. Para que no se lo pierda, le dedicamos esta entrada.

It is increasingly common to find on YouTube videos with images of Hacienda Riquelme shooted with drones. Often they are made by real estate agencies or owners who want to sell or rent apartments.

Recently, we found a video that, due to the quality of the shots and the production, we have included it in the left column of the web version (not in the mobile version) of this blog. To prevent you miss it, we write this post.

Día Internacional de los Bosques 2020 / 2020 International Forest Day

El Día Internacional de los Bosques es un evento que se celebra cada 21 de marzo. Esa fecha fue establecida por la Asamblea General de Naciones Unidas, en su resolución 67/200, y en ella se hace hincapié en la necesidad de que los países emprendan esfuerzos locales, nacionales e internacionales para organizar actividades relacionadas con los bosques y los árboles.

El lema de este año, “Los bosques y la biodiversidad. Demasiado preciosos para perderlos”, tiene como objetivo mostrar la enorme importancia de estos ecosistemas que albergan alrededor del 80% de la biodiversidad terrestre de todo el mundo. Sin embargo, los bosques se encuentran gravemente amenazados por la deforestación, la degradación forestal y el cambio climático.

Por ello, la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentación y la Agricultura (FAO), anima a todos los países a unirse a la celebración de este Día con iniciativas en el plano local, nacional e internacional para la organización de actividades relacionadas con los bosques.

International Forest Day is an event that is celebrated every March 21. That date was established by the General Assembly of the United Nations, in its resolution 67/200, and it emphasizes the need for countries to undertake local, national and international efforts to organize activities related to forests and trees. 

This year's motto, “Forests and biodiversity. Too precious to lose them”, aims to show the enormous importance of these ecosystems that house around 80% of the terrestrial biodiversity of the whole world. However, forests are seriously threatened by deforestation, forest degradation and climate change. 

Therefore, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) encourages all countries to join the celebration of this Day with initiatives at the local, national and international levels for the organization of activities related to forests.
