In the post What the British say, what they really mean, and what others understand we already saw that the British themselves acknowledge that it can be difficult to understand what they really mean. Here we find another fun example.

En 2016, publicamos una entrada con título similar a este. Nuestra amiga británica Claire nos envíó la siguiente tabla, publicada en el diario digital Independent.

Si la información recopilada en la tabla es cierta, entonces es difícil entender lo que realmente quieren decir muchos de nuestros vecinos británicos. Es una pena porque puede haber molestos malentendidos, sobre todo con españoles.

In 2016, we publish a post with similar title that this one. Our British friend Claire sent us the table below, that was publish in the digital newspaper Independent.

If the information gathered in the table is true, then it is difficult to understand what many of our British neighbours really mean. It's a pity because there could be annoying misunderstandings, mainly with Spaniards.
