La balsa junto a la depuradora de aguas residuales / The pond next to the water treatment plant

The pond located beyond the road to Sucina, in front of Phase 4, seems to be out of use long time ago. Reeds have grown in the remaining  water, and the site has become a breeding ground for some coots, moorhens and little grebes. Other birds, like grey heron and mallard, have also recently been watched over there.

A metal fence in very good state surrounds the pond and protects birds from feral cats and other predators.

La balsa situada al otro lado de la carretera de Sucina, enfrente de la fase 4, lleva bastante tiempo fuera de uso. En el agua que queda, han crecido cañaverales y el sitio se ha convertido en lugar de cría de algunas fochas, gallinetas y zampullines. Otras aves, como garza real y ánade azulón, se han visto también recientemente por allí.

Una valla metálica en perfecto estado rodea la balsa y protege a las aves de gatos salvajes y otros depredadores.
